Stories that challenge, immerse and stay with the audience.

Aaron Allen is a Birmingham-based filmmaker whose creative interests centre on character journeys, moral questions and immersive cinematic worlds. His interest in film began in childhood and developed into a commitment to storytelling that invites audiences to see familiar ideas from a different perspective.

Drawing inspiration from filmmakers including Akira Kurosawa, Andrei Tarkovsky and Stanley Kubrick, Aaron explores the relationship between visual expression, narrative structure and emotional impact.

Within PIIDMPEP’s production team, his focus is screenwriting and screenplay development: shaping ideas, characters and story progression through creative collaboration. His approach values fresh perspectives, purposeful dialogue and the shared work of bringing a story from the page towards the screen.
